Close and contain
Use clean, food-appropriate containers with lids that close securely. Place containers upright in a stable secondary bag or carrier.
- Do not overfill containers.
- Separate hot and cold items where practical.
- Use leak-resistant secondary containment.
Make it carryable
Packages should be easy for a driver to carry safely with ordinary handling. Keep containers secure, balanced, and manageable for pickup and delivery.
Describe special handling
Tell the driver what they need to know—such as keep upright—without including sensitive medical or relationship information in the package description.
Items we cannot carry
Do not send leaking, opened, unsafe, alcoholic, regulated, or prohibited items. Please choose another delivery option for anything that needs specialized temperature control or handling.
